Qualifications And Other Requirements For The NDDC Scholarship
- If you want to pursue a Master’s Degree program, a first degree with a minimum of 2nd Class Lower Division is required, and your degree must be a good Master’s Degree from a recognized university.
- Applicants must have been accepted into a postgraduate program in any of the above-mentioned disciplines at a foreign university.
- Applicants who have previously been enrolled in overseas universities are ineligible to apply.
- You must have the guarantor’s written consent to the applicant’s good behavior from any of the following members of the applicant’s community or clan:
- Member of the National Assembly or State House of Assembly
- Chairman of the LGA
- First-Class Traditional Ruler
- High Court Judge
5. Applicants with a criminal record will also be disqualified from this NDDC scholarship.
6. Applicants must have completed the National Youth Service (NYSC) requirement.
7. Individuals who have evidence of cult membership will not be considered for the award.

Note;
- The commission will not communicate with candidates who were not shortlisted for the computer-based test (CBT), were not invited for an oral interview, or were not successful during the oral interviews.
- Candidates from oil-producing or oil-bearing communities or local government areas would be given preference, as long as they met the approved cut-off mark.
- The commission will ensure that beneficiaries in each state receive an equitable distribution of courses.
- As a result, deferment, changing institutions, and changing courses are not permitted.
- The commission reserves the sole and absolute right to select applicants based on the aforementioned criteria and internal consideration. The commission’s decision in this regard is final.
