Normally, CUCAS is an official online portal through which international students can apply to Chinese universities. However, they have recently added scholarship programs to the portal. CUCAS offer an entry scholarship of up to RMB 44,000 (6,335.68 dollars) (or up to 50% of the tuition fee) per year for international and Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan undergraduate students who demonstrate academic excellence.
To be considered for this scholarship, you must indicate your interest during the online program application process and complete the “XJTLU Entry Scholarship” section. The annual renewal of entry scholarships is contingent on continued strong academic performance. The panel that decides on entry-level scholarship awards meets at various times throughout the year, and you are encouraged to apply early for admission to XJTLU undergraduate programs to ensure scholarship availability.

1. Zhengzhou University Presidential Scholarship for Math Programs

1. A non-Chinese citizen who is physically fit and has no criminal record;

Applicants for the pre-master program (master student) must have a bachelor’s degree or higher or an equivalent degree and be under the age of 35.

7. Applicants for master’s programs taught in Chinese must have a New HSK Examination score of 210 or higher in Level 6, 210 in Level 5, and 210 in Level 4 (or equivalent level).
8. Applicants for master’s programs taught in English must have IELTS scores of 7.0, 6.5, or 6.0 (or equivalent) if they are from non-English-speaking countries.
9. Instead of an IELTS or TOFEL score, applicants for doctoral, master’s, and bachelor’s programs taught in English must provide credentials of their English level, such as a certificate of English study and examination.

- Be a healthy non-Chinese citizen.
- When applying for bachelor’s programs, you must be a high school graduate under the age of 35.
- Please provide HSK if applying to Chinese-taught programs.
- Certificates issued within the last two years: Like HSK 4 with a score of at least 180 for undergraduate applicants
- If you are applying for English-taught programs, please provide proof of an IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL IBT 80 or higher obtained within the last two years.
- Students who submit any other English proficiency certificate may be required to provide additional materials.
