This works for all network service sims in Nigeria [ GLO, MTN, AIRTEL and 9mobile ]. Let me quickly summarize how this works for each sim,
HOW TO GIFT DATA ON MTN
To be able to have mb on sims with loans on it, you just have to use another sim of that same service provider, so in this case use mtn, you can use your partner, friends sim or if you have a spare line without borrowed loan on it you can use it too.
1. Credit the sim with no loan on it with the amount of data you want to buy, maybe the MTN 500 for 750mb or 1000 for 1532mb or 100 for 50mb whichever one.

After crediting with the desired amount for the data you want, dial the default data buying code *131# and select gift data

Next, select buy for a friend and choose the data plan you wish to buy and then enter the beneficiary or giftee number
4. Done! The giftee number gets the data.
#NOTE : MTN network do not support gifting of night data so there is no tutorial on how to buy nor transfer night data.
HOW TO GIFT NIGHT DATA ON GLO
Ok for the GLO network, I will show you how to buy night data plan for third parties meaning other GLO users. There are 3 GLO night plan offers, we have #25 for 250mb, #50 for 500mb, #100 for 1GB all data plan is valid between 12am midnight to 5am Early Morning. Procedures to buy the GLO night data for another GLO line.,
1.
Dial *777# and enter 1 to select data.

Enter 2 to select gift data plan.
3.
Enter 7 to select Night and Weekend to select a plan to gift.
4.
Choose your desired Night data plans, enter the number that goes with your choice. Am selecting 3 for #100 to get 1GB for 5 days.
5.
Finally enter the giftee number, giftee number is one who receives the data.
6.
Done! You get a confirmation message that the number has gotten the data successfully.
HOW TO GIFT NORMAL DATA ON GLO
This tutorial is to know how to buy normal data plan which you can use during the day and night, whenever and wherever you like as long as the data is still valid. So now I will show you how to buy this normal data for other GLO users. The procedures are,
1. With your mobile, dial *777# choose data.
2. Enter 2 in the space for gift data plan.
3. Select a plan to gift. Maybe mini data plan or monthly data plans.
